Eastern Institute’s 19th Annual Economic Forum Krynica, Poland

Krynica has become the most important meeting place of the year for the transformation countries of the former Eastern Bloc and the Balkans.
The Economic Forum was held for the first time in the beginning of the 1990's as a meeting of Polish business people and politicians with partners from behind the eastern border. Later, it was supposed to be a conference uniting Central and Eastern Europe. Today, it has gone beyond the frames of a regional conference into a gathering of Europe’s leading minds, with special guests from the Middle East and America. Recent speakers have included Lech Walesa, Polish Prime Minister Marek Belka, Tadeusz Mazowiecki of Solidarity and Italian Cardinal Renato Martino.
From 9:00AM-12:00PM on Friday, September 11th, Peter Schiff will sit on an expert panel for the plenary session, entitled: “What Now? Europe after the Global Financial Crisis.”

On Friday, October 16th, Peter Schiff will deliver the keynote lecture at this year’s BHCC Annual Conference. He will seek to present the case that stimulus and quantitative easing are misguided policies with dangerous consequences, and that production and deregulation lay the path to prosperity.
