Mr. Applegate entered financial services in 2003 at a small mortgage brokerage, eventually moving to Citigroup–Mortgage, where his clients included some of Citi’s largest West Coast wholesale mortgage brokerages. After leaving Citi, Blair decided to pursue opportunities in what Wall Street considers “Alternative Investments.” This included wholesale distribution of REITs and debentures to financial advisors and independent planners as an Internal Wholesaler for Steadfast Capital Markets Group. In this role he called upon advisors to help them understand the nuances of these investment products.
Blair also worked with Monex, providing investors with vaulted storage or physical delivery of gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion, bars and coins. He joined Euro Pacific Capital after learning about and then following Peter Schiff’s investing strategy.
Mr. Applegate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Economics from San Diego State University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 & 65 licenses. Blair lives in Santa Ana with his wife.
