Mr. McBean joined Euro Pacific in July 2008 as Head of Capital Markets and in December 2010 took on the role of President. Prior to joining Euro Pacific, Mr. McBean was Director of Research at Roth Capital Partners in Newport Beach, CA. While at Roth, Mr. McBean built a research team widely acclaimed as a leader in growth stocks, with a particular emphasis on China. He was also responsible for setting up Roth's operations in China, and was based in Shanghai for the majority of 2006 and 2007. A native of Scotland, Gordon McBean has been in the securities industry for 22 years and served in various capacities at Lehman Brothers, Wells Fargo Van Kasper and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey. He received his B.A. in Business Economics from Paisley University in Scotland and is a CFA Charterholder. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Orange County.
Gordon resides in Newport Coast, California with his wife and three children. He holds FINRA 7, 63. 24, 86 and 87 licenses.
